Guarantees

All gemstones on our website carry a money-back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase.  Within seven (7) days of receipt, simply return the gemstone for a full refund.  See Returns (below) for more information.

We guarantee that you will receive the exact gemstone you have ordered, with NO substitutions.

We DO NOT guarantee that an Emerald or other gemstone will not chip, break, crack or scratch after delivery or during setting/mounting.  We recommend insuring all of your gemstone jewelry under your homeowners insurance policy.

DELIVERY

All orders are shipped via Federal Express, United Pacel Service or the United States Post Office.  Each shipment requires an adult signature upon receipt. 

All gemstone orders are sent fully insured.  Customers will be able to track their own orders through our customized tracking system.Immediately upon receipt of the shipment, inspect the package for shipping damage.  If you notice any damage, you MUST notify the shipper and fill out a damage claim form.  Contact us with any information regarding shipping damage.

RETURNS

Gemstones may be returned within seven (7) days of receipt.  You must first contact us to obtain a Return Authorization Number.  All gemstones must be returned unaltered and in original condition within two days of receiving a Return Authorization Number from EmeraldandGemstones.  We will NOT refund any returned item if the customer does not first obtain a Return Authorization Number or if the item is postmarked after seven (7) days of your original receipt of the shipment.  We recommend fully insuring the item and shipping via United States Postal Service Overnight Express Mail.  Whichever shipper you use, make sure they insure loose gemstones.  You might also check your homeowners insurance policy to see if it covers such shipping. 

Safe return of all gemstones is your responsibility.  Fully insure all return items.  Make sure the shipper insures loose, unmounted gemstones, or make sure your own homeowners insurance covers such items.   If your return merchandise is not received, we will NOT honor the refund.Additionally, the item must be returned completely unaltered and must match our description and photographs of the item.  If the gem is altered or visibly different in any way, we will NOT honor the refund.

 We reserve the right to charge a 20% minimum restocking fee on:

1.  Merchandise returned without first obtaining a Return   Authorization Number.
2.  Merchandise returned after the seven (7) day inspection period.
3.  Merchandise that was accompanied by an appraisal where said report is missing, altered or damaged.
4.  Merchandise returned with damaged box, bag or other packaging (not due to shipping, where report has been filed).
